Mr. Michael C. Sorrick

Mr. Michael Clinton "Mike" Sorrick, age 67, of Milton, Delaware (formerly Havre de Grace, Maryland) died on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the Suites of Accentcare Hospice, Wilmington, Delaware.
Mike was born in St. Petersburg, Florida to Clare Elizabeth Magee Sorrick and David C. Sorrick. Mike graduated from Aberdeen High School, Class of 1977, and attended classes at Harford Community College, Bel Air, Maryland. He formerly attended Camp Chapel United Methodist Church in Perry Hall, Maryland.
Mike was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 135 in Perryville, Maryland, and a Master Mason of the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, Susquehanna Lodge #130 in Havre de Grace, Maryland.
Prior to retirement, Mike worked as a Superintendent at Harford Duracool a walk-in cooler manufacturer in Aberdeen, Maryland, for 31 years. In retirement he worked part-time at Home Depot and later drove a school bus for Anderson Bus Company in Havre de Grace, Maryland.
Mike enjoyed all types of woodworking and served as the resident handyman in the Anthem development in Milton, Delaware, where he lived with his wife at the time of his passing. He enjoyed traveling, time at the beach, bike riding, and listening to classic rock music.
He was preceded in death by his late parents.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Penny Sorrick; his son, Scott Michael Sorrick; his stepson, Andrew Jester; his grandson, Ryan; his brother, David Sorrick; nephews, Kevin and Christopher Sorrick and his niece, Elizabeth Sorrick.
Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Williams Funeral Home and Burial Services.
A celebration to honor Mike's life will be scheduled and announced in the spring of 2026.
