Mr. Spencer emailing us/our parents wishing us happy holidays. It was something that seemed so small only being in tenth grade. But it showed just how big and gracious his heart was. Your 6th period Algebra 2 class misses you. I miss you.

Mr. Spencer was a unique teacher at Klein Oak. Throughout the years, I realized that he always came to school with a bright smile, no matter what might have happened. Initially, I didn't see this as important, but after reflecting on my other teachers, I recognized that I had never encountered such a trait before. This positive attitude made students feel welcomed and ready to learn because knowing our teacher wanted to be there made us want to be there too.

I am deeply saddened to hear about Mr. Spencer's passing, but I am grateful that I had the chance to have a final conversation with him on my last day of school. I was fortunate enough to express my appreciation, and that of my class, for all he had done. It was an honor to have him write a message in my graduation book-a book to which I invited only a few teachers to contribute throughout my years. As time passes, I will continue to reflect on Mr. Spencer's message and wisdom, cherishing the memories from his Algebra 2 KP class forever.

I will always remember Mr. Spencer because I was always challenged in his class with the tough problems but he taught me to always try and I still have those skills to this day that´s why he is a W teacher

Mr. Spencer was a wonderful teacher even to unenthusiastic students like myself. I'll never forget when I told him my senior year that his Calc class would be my last math class ever. He told me that he'll make it memorable so all of the math stays with me. Funnily, I still do all kinds of math every day for work. I'm so thankful he was able to guide me and others. Klein oak will miss him.

Mr. Spencer was a great man and great teacher. Even two years after taking his class, he still made a difference in my life by encouraging me to endure and persevere through calculus when I was desperate and eager to quit. Because of his challenge and kind words, I stayed in the class and got the five.

Mr. Spencer was always encouraging my brother and I to reach our fullest potential. He was a fantastic teacher who truly made me love and appreciate mathematics. He had a rare ability to make everyone feel seen, heard, and appreciated. I am so grateful that I had him as a teacher and a role model.
