Mr. Michael W. Springer

Hello...I grew up in Lakewood, Ohio and believe that Michael was the wonderful brother who assisted his brother Jack and myself when we had a band way back when.

My condolences to the Springer family.

Tonight I was reminiscing about growing up in Cleveland and just came upon Mike's passing. I have such fond memories of being in a band with Jack and I remember Mike as a truly kind and gentle man. Truly sorry for your loss.

I love you and I hope Aaron and I are making you proud.
We also hope you are with grandpa in that hobby shop in the sky...

My condolenecs to the entire Springer family. I knew your your Grandpa & Grandma through my visits to Hobby Castle, And that is how I got to meet and become friends with Mike. A truly wonderful man, and he will be missed.

Sincere condolences to the Springer family and friends. I will miss seeing Mike and shooting the breeze when picking up the magazines he put aside for me each month at Hobby Castle.

Iwill miss you greatly my friend!.you were family to me, there when i became a father,you were at my wedding, you helped me through my divorce...we shared many a conversation, jokes and laughter and as far as the good found in people..Mike you were a wealth of kindness and i will never forget you...we will meet again my friend, until then may God bless you...your friends, Dave,Max,and Brody..we miss you

Our deepest condolences to the Springer Family. In 2006, Mike told me "My father, Jack Springer, did not run the store as a business in the strict sense. He did it for the pleasure of the hobby but, most of all, he enjoyed the human side . . . he needed the store because it was his other love - his love of people." Mike kept Hobby Castle going in the same heart-felt tradition. Through the years we heard from dozens of residents with warm memories of Jack and Mike Springer, and Hobby Castle. It meant so much to so many West Parkers.

Mike was the kindest man that I ever knew. Always patient and considerate of everyone. He was the best "PAPA" in the world, through the eyes of his grandsons and mine.
He will be missed greatly by all.
