Michael L. Streeter

GOUVERNEUR- Michael L. "Pickles" Streeter, age 59, of Gouverneur, NY passed away unexpectantly at Gouverneur Hospital after being stricken at home.
There will be calling hours for Michael on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. at French Funeral Home in Gouverneur, and then on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. at the Gouverneur Community Center. His funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. at the Community Center. Burial will follow at East Riverside Cemetery. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.
Michael was born on July 1, 1964 to LeRoy D. and Barbara A. (Gonyea) Streeter. He graduated from Gouverneur Central School in 1982 and then entered into the United States Army, where he served two tours. He worked as a machine operator at CIVES Steel in Gouverneur for 35 years.
Michael enjoyed collecting sports cards, watching football and baseball and was an avid Cowboys and Yankee's fan. Mike was a man who would do anything for anyone. He was always there for his mother and his friends.
Surviving is his mother Barbara A. Peck; three brothers, Kenneth L. Streeter, Donald A. (Brenda) Streeter and Gregory L. (Nicola) Streeter and several nieces and nephews. Michael is predeceased by his father, Leroy D. Streeter.
