Michael D. “Sully” Sullivan, 71 of West Springfield passed away peacefully, surrounded by family after a brief illness. Michael, born in Springfield, the son of Walter and Eleanor (Shea) Sullivan and lived in West Springfield most of his life. Michael worked for many years at Southworth Paper Company and The Republican. He loved spending time with friends and family and loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially family trips to Lake George, NY. Michael was predeceased by his parents, his sister Patty, and his brother Chris. He leaves behind two children, Adam (Meghan) Sullivan of Agawam and Andrea Sullivan of West Springfield, their mother, Dawn also of West Springfield, brother Daniel (Katherine) of Truro, granddaughters Madison, Lily, and Abbigail as well as many nieces and nephews. All services are private. Arrangements were entrusted to Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home.
