Capitol Hill will never be the same without you, Michael! I'm so sad to learn our Advocates for Arthritis visit was your last. It was an honor to be your friend and colleague.

Michael was very special to me, the closest entity to a father after my own passed away. I have such fond memories of dc, Boston, Maine, Indiana and of course skiing in saddleback. He possessed both a wonderful soul and a heart of cold. I will miss our long conversations, laughter and the incredible advice he gave. Love you forever, Michael.

I am so sorry for your loss. You both were the love of his life....he was so proud of both of you. Your Dad was such a kind gentleman. He always tried to make people laugh and feel comfortable. He was so strong in the face of all his medical issues. I will miss seeing his smile. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Michael fought the good fight against his RA and other health issues. As his surviving Aunt, I am deeply saddened by his unexpected passing. I will miss you greatly. May you rest in peace with the rest of your family in heaven and save a place for me. Andrea Taffe

My husband, Kevin and I met Michael through a dear friend, Kerry Daley. During our many dinner outings, we had a lot of laughs and many discussions about politics, worthwhile charities to support such as the Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) Foundation, life happenings etc. Michael had a great sense of humor and we always looked forward to our next couple visit!
You will be missed Michael!

Mike, we will miss you so much but we will toast you at every gymnastic reunion. If you run into Benny--behave!! We will see you some day and miss you always.

Dear Mike - you were a wonderful and kind man. I will miss you greatly. I know you are soaring with the angels now.
