Mangano Family Funeral Home, Inc. - Middle IslandMichael Joseph Tarduno, Sr., born on November 6, 1959, in Brooklyn, New York, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, in Stony Brook, New York. He was a devoted father, grandfather, uncle and loving brother, remembered for his warm spirit and dedication to his craft as a roofer in the construction industry.
Michael is survived by his beloved son, Michael Joseph, Jr., and his wife Michelle, as well as his cherished siblings: his sister, Margaret M. Schobel, and brothers, Donald (Narcy) and Tommy. He took great pride in being a grandfather to four grandchildren, Gabriella, Hailey, Riley, and Kinsley, who brought joy and light into his life. His memory is further cherished by his niece, Tara, and nephews, Louis, Thomas, and Nicholas.
He was preceded in death by his spouse, the late Arleen Tarduno, whose memory he carried in his heart, as well as his late parents, Thomas and Helen Tarduno. He is also predeceased by his late daughter, Lori Ann Nolan, whom he loved dearly.
Visitation services will be held on September 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at the Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, located at 640 Middle Country Rd, Middle Island, NY 11953. The burial will take place on September 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram, NY 11727.
Michael Joseph Tarduno, Sr. will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. His legacy of love and joy will continue through his family and friends.
