I had never met you until tonight. Sorry to all who love and miss Michael. As strange as this story sounds it's becoming more clear to me.
I have been effected by 9/11. Since then or shortly after I have been haunted/gifted be the number 9 11. I can not count the number of times I've looked at the clock and seen this number and never really knew why. Until now! I was watching a show on tv about ghost/visitors from 911 tragedy, so I searched to see if there was someone with my name that had passed away and well here I am! Thank you I feel I found my answer now. From now on when I see 9:11 on my clock I will think of you and your family.

I have been thinking about you a lot lately. Your entertained smile, your silly ways, your fun loving nature. I think of us as kids, you with your head out the back seat window pretending to be a dog with your tongue wagging -- what a unique and uninhibited individual you were. I loved that about you.

I loved that as adults you came to me for comfort when things got hard and you needed someone to talk to. What an honor it was to have my big brother talking to me on that level.

And I got the precious gift of you over Labor Day weekend 2001. Unbelievable that less than a week later you would be gone and yet somehow, even though we rarely saw eachother, we had been having fun together the weekend before. I am so blessed. I guess God knew I needed to connect with you one last time before you left and he gave me that time with you.

How could this have happened. It is so surreal. And it has so vastly changed my life. It detoured me onto a path I was not supposed to be on, and I still struggle stay on the path of MY choosing, but I have made it back. I know, you know, you have been watching, you have seen the struggle. And you have encouraged every step I have taken.

I love you so, so much! You are forever in my heart.

Dear Michael M. Taylor,

You don't no who i am but i no who you are. My name is stephanie Hessmann and i am in seventh grade. my seventh grade class is doing a project on septemper 11. what we are doing is picking a name off of the honnor flag that my teacher has that has all the names of the people who passad away on septemper 11. I chose you because i like the name Michael. what we have to do is get a picture of the person whe chose and a little information then next year on september 11 we are going to make shirts with the person we chose on it. Then we will reveal a quilt with the information of everybody that died from september 11. I hope everybody in heaven appreciates what we are doing. I hope somehow you can read this even though your in heaven. Well im not shure what else to so so god bless your family.

You were my big brother, my friend, my protector and I loved you very much. You watch us now from heaven, James Robert on your shoulders. I'm thankful that you are with him, but I am greatly saddenned by all the life you had yet to experience... the children you had yet to have. I miss you so much and look forward to the time when our family will once again be together.

Father we entrust our brother Michael to your mercy. You loved him greatly in this life: now that he is freed from all its cares, give him happiness and peace forever. Welcome him now into paradise where there will be no more sorrow, no more weeping or pain, but only peace and joy with Jesus your Son, and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.

Mike, We never met but I feel as

though I know you. Your Uncle Arch

and Aunt Georgia Lee are friends of

mine and I remember that after they

received the horrible news that Doug

and I went over to try and offer

some comfort. Sitting in their beautiful garden Your Aunt and Uncle talked about you for a long time and when they were through, I felt as though I knew you. ....what a dear young man you were. I wish

thatI could have had some of your

knowledge of the wines (I'm such a

redneck at it) but we'll leave that

to Aunt Georgia Lee....You are in

heaven now where the grapes are

even sweeter. Fondly, Rosemary

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
