He was born on June 13, 1954 in Weehawkin, NJ, was raised in Perth Amboy, NJ and had resided in Edison for over 40 years.
Michael proudly served his country as a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Coast Guard.
He was plant manager for Lucent Technologies in Parsippany, NJ, for over 30 years, before retiring in the early 2000's.
He also had been employed with NJ Transit for many years.
He was a former coach for the Edison Boys Baseball Little League.
He was predeceased by his parents; Edison and Jean Todd, and his beloved wife, Vicki (D'Andrea) Todd, who died in 2015.
Michael leaves behind his two beloved sons; Jonathan Todd and his wife Brooke of Edison, NJ, and Daniel Todd and his wife Sandy, of Asbury, NJ, his three dear grandchildren; Edison Michael Todd, Caroline Vicki Todd and Riley Patrick Todd, and his three siblings, Debra Pignone and her husband Rich, of Hopelawn, NJ, Jeffrey Todd and his wife Maryann of Sewaren, NJ, and Kathleen Cumber and her husband Mark of Perth Amboy, NJ. Also surviving are many nieces and a nephew.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 3- 7 pm at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords, NJ 08863. With a funeral Service at 6:30 pm, followed by Coast Guard Military Honors at 7 pm.
Cremation will follow privately.
