Michael Merle Tomblin

Michael Merle Tomblin, 63, of Tyner, IN, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2025 in his home.
Michael was born on September 8, 1961 to Jessie and Goldie (Vance) Tomblin in Logan, West Virginia. He married Lori Meeks on April 28, 1980 in West Virginia and she preceded him in death on June 25, 2008. He worked doing roofing and owned Top Quality Roofing. He was a musician and sang, played guitar, wrote songs, liked muscle cars, fishing, camping, mushroom picking, and anything outdoors, but he loved spending time with his family the most. He was a hard-working man who loved his family very much.
Michael will be dearly missed by his son, Mike (Rhonda) Tomblin of Plymouth, IN; his daughter, Goldie (Jeff) Bucher of Grovertown, IN; his grandchildren: Zach (Macy) Tomblin; Alexis Tomblin; Kiley Tomblin; Jesic Parker; Evan Parker; Jeffrey Bucher III; his great-grandchildren: Xander P'pool; and Billie Kate Tomblin; his brothers: Lindsey Mitchell Tomblin; William Earl Isaacs; along with many nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lori Tomblin; his brothers: Johnny Tomblin; and Randy Isaacs.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Deaton-Clemens Van Gilder Funeral Home (300 W. Madison St., Plymouth, IN). The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Kristin Harp officiating.
The burial will take place in Tyner Cemetery (Tyner, IN).
