Michael J. "Mike" Torretta

Michael J (Mike) Torretta of Hartland, Wisconsin. Passed to eternal life on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at the age of 94. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Edith, the love of his life; son, Michael (Bonnie) and son, Steve (Rochelle Behling). He is further survived by granddaughters Nicole (Justin) Deverney, Shelby (Jacob) Seeger, Courtney Torretta, Angela (Russ) Raposa and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mike worked as an auto mechanic and a damage appraiser for over 30 years. But his real enjoyment came from the activities he did outside of work. He and Edie had a tremendous love of traveling, having toured China, Morocco, Thailand and extensively throughout Europe among other places. Never one to sit still, his love of the outdoors led him to gardening, hunting and fishing. But his biggest passions were for fishing and hunting and he did those things for as long as he was able. He taught kids proper fishing skills and etiquette and showed an appreciation for those that trained hunting dogs.
He also leaves behind many beloved friends and family members. He will be missed but never forgotten.
