Las Vegas, Nevada - Michael Francis Towey was born in Wichita, Kansas, on January 27, 1953, to James and Raynelda Towey and passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada after a short illness. Mike is pre-deceased by his parents; step-son, David Cobb; brothers, Tim and Dan; brothers-in-law, Kenny Atiken and Tom McCall. He is survived by his loving wife, Lynette; granddaughters, Rachel and Natalie Cobb; sisters, Patty McCall, Colleen (Rod) Young, Theresa (Eddie) Newby, Kathy (Barry) Dorion; brothers, Kelly (Deb) Towey, Jim (Janine) Towey, John (Carol) Towey; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Mike's life will be held Saturday, October 25th, 2025, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Stewardship Hall, 861 N. Socora, Wichita, KS 67212 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. See full obituary and share tributes online at: www.dlwichita.com
