Michael Ushkurnis

HOLDEN – Michael Peter Ushkurnis, 70, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023, after a courageous battle with Guillain-Barre Syndrome. Born in Worcester on April 28, 1952, Michael was the son of the late Edward P. and Mary R. (Cronin) Ushkurnis. He was predeceased by his sister Mary Ann Mercier and his sister Ann Marie DiGregorio.
He was a graduate of St. Peter's High School in Worcester, Class of 1970. He proudly served his country for three years in the United States Marine Corp. After which, he worked 35 years at Air Conditioning Supply in Worcester. Michael's passions in life were hunting, deep sea fishing and spending time with his family and his beloved dog, Star.
Michael will be lovingly remembered by his brother, James Ushkurnis and his wife, Barbara of Paxton; his nephews, Derek Ushkurnis of New Braintree, Michael DiGregorio of Holden, Daniel DiGregorio and his wife, Karen of Holden; and his brother-in-law, Leo DiGregorio of Holden.
Michael's family will honor and celebrate his life privately at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden followed by interment at St. John's Cemetery in Worcester. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to www.cathedralofsaintpaul.net.
