Michael Ventura Obituary
Michael V. Ventura, 73, of Fremont, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born August 27, 1952 in Cleveland the son of John and Frances (Iacono) Ventura.
As a truck driver and avid Harley enthusiast, Michael traversed countless miles, enjoying the freedom of the open road. He was a long-time fan of baseball, especially the Cleveland Guardians.
Though his appearance might have projected an intimidating persona, those who had the privilege of knowing him understood the gentle spirit within. Michael was a man of genuine heart, always ready with a kind word and a helping hand. Family was paramount to him, his children and grandchildren were the highlights of his life.
Surviving is his wife Debra (Wright) of Fremont, OH; children: Missi (Ed) Ventura, Mike Ventura, Adam (Marina) Ventura; step-children: Casey Hoch, Erica (Bryan) Pawlak, Alison (John) Hoch; grandchildren: Patrick, Sammie, Lauren, Felicia, Amanda, Julia, Bella, Michael, Natalia and Briley; great-grandchildren Caleb, Kylie and Raina; brother in-law Jack (Jeanie) Wright and sister-in-law Regina (Sam) Pryce. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers John and Jim and in-laws Al & Boo Wright.
Per his wishes no services will take place. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Sandusky County.
