Michael R. Verrilli D.O.

Michael R. Verrilli, D.O., age 72, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 17, 2025 in Florence, MA. Michael was a talented osteopath, Shamanic healer, and Reiki specialist. He resided on Market St in Northampton prior to his death.

Michael is the son of Rocco and Barbara Verrilli and brother to Lisa Verrilli, all who pre-deceased him. He leaves his sister, Carla Horn and her partner Alex Jozefowski of Whitinsville MA, his longtime love and partner Deborah Uller of Northampton, and his niece Paige Horn of Whitinsville.

He graduated from Franklin & Marshall College in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in 1974 and went on to graduate school and then Osteopathic School at Michigan State University where he obtained his doctorate in osteopathic medicine. His began practicing infectious disease medicine in Springfield MA before turning towards an alternative medicine and healing practice in Northampton MA.

He enjoyed traveling, especially to Peru and India and was quite involved in Indian culture and spirituality. He was a kind and gentle spirit with a great sense of quirky humor that is dearly remembered by his partner and family, including cousins in New York, New Jersey and Colorado. Services are private and will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2025.
