In memory of
Jeff Lichter
January 6, 2026
Have known Mike well probably since he was born. Our mom&dads were best of best friends from their youth. They grew up during the depression and throughout their lives stayed close to one another. They always helped each other whatever the cost till they passed. Mike carried that passion throughout his life in his love for his family and extended family. He exemplified the finest traits of a father, husband, brother, friend. Those of you who were the beneficiary of his friendship and generosity were truly lucky. He wasn't a good golfer as Barbara can attest, but he tired- OK FJ and rest of the Wagner/Lichter have fun up there- Jeff

It is with deep sadness that I share my condolences on Mike´s passing. My name is Elizabeth, and I worked with Mike and Lakeview for 10 years, staying in touch even after I left the high school. He was-and remains-an influence in my life. He loved his career and his work family, and I too was adopted into the Lakeview community after my days at Morton H.S., which allowed me to know everyone in a different light. Please know that you are all in my prayers, Barbara and Janet, as you both received me as family just as Mike did. May God´s promise bring comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain or sorrow. May his legacy continue, and may his grandson and grandchildren always know how deeply he loved them and how proud he was of them.
My sincere condolences,
Elizabeth Perez
When a memorial is set, please let me know.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Mike's passing. I first met him through another friend, Sam Lostroscio, and I admired him greatly for his unselfish devotion to De La Salle and his generosity, contributing to sports functions held there. For a few years in a row, I met up with him at The Final 4 basketball game event and exchanged pleasant conversations with him there and at the 50th graduation reunion. Wonderful man... Please accept my sincere sympathy.

Mike was truly one of a kind! We met when we were 5 years old and never lost touch with each other. Great athlete, teammate and friend that you could call and catch up like it was yesterday. Heaven got an angel and it will be a better place because Mike is there. Love him like a brother!
