Hi Mr. Walsh. Still couldn´t believe the last day at school was the last time we talked. My friends and I planned to revisit when we graduated...which we recently did. I still couldn´t believe you won´t be there anymore. We talked about you now and then, your ironic share of joy we can see your mustache lifted despite your constant denying of smiling. We nicknamed you as a papa seal, never know if you knew about this yet, that we adored you very much.

Weekly tests were memorably chaotic with all the students crowding in groups trying to remember the initials letters, that´s one of the studying tricks you taught. Your class was fun and spirit-uplifting as you always tell them as stories. They were all good old days now. Along with other teachers who have faith in us, you made my school-hated days change to opportunities of how to properly school.

Your teaching content on war history became the little fandom I share with my friends. I was inspired by you when you complimented me on the art I made for an assignment, and my friend wrote a fictional book on a world war setting. We still kept our experiences from the class and from time to time rekindled them in passions we do or nostalgia conversations. I still wear the Boston shirt you gave us every week lol. The prized bear I got from you also cared on my bedside. Pieces of the old days are still here reminded me. Thanks to you, Mr. Walsh.

Mr. Walsh says he never smile but we always try to make him laugh. He will always be my favorite teacher. RIP Mr. Walsh
