MICHAEL T. WALSH, 66 of West Yarmouth, MA –
Went home to God & Heaven on Thanksgiving, November 25, 2021, his
favorite holiday, after a long illness surrounded by his family.
Mike was born in La Rochelle, France to William & Peggy Walsh on October 9, 1955. He attended high school on Long Island, NY. Mike went on to earn a Masters Degree in Business & Marketing from Northeastern University. He used his education to work in manufacturing & own his own business. He also excelled in corporate training & education. He enjoyed volunteering in his community & being an Area Captain for YPD Neighborhood Watch. Mike was an avid sports fan & was proud of his work with the NE Patriots Security Team for 20 years at Sullivan Stadium. He also enjoyed being a licensed firearms instructor, part of the MA Hunters ED program & the National Wildlife Turkey Federation.
Mike is survived by his wife of 43 years Laurie, son Michael & his wife Kelly, daughter Kathleen & son Stephen. He is also survived by his siblings Patricia Walsh-Moran, William Walsh, Cynthia Bamberger as well as many nieces, nephews & friends. He is preceded in death by both his parents & his sister Kathleen.
Arrangements under the care of Chapman Funerals & Cremations, Yarmouth. Visiting hours will be held at Morris, O'Connor Chapel, 58 Long Pond Dr. South Yarmouth, MA from 4 pm -6 pm on Monday Dec. 6, 2021.
