Michael David Ward, 70, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, March 23rd, 2025.
Michael was born in Fort Mead, Maryland on May 20, 1954, to Margaret Hughes Ward and Frank Ward.
Michael proudly served in the United States Army as well as the National Guard.
He and his wife, Sheila Damker Ward, just celebrated their 30th anniversary.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila; his two sons Richard Ward (Julie), Shawn Ward (Tabra); three step sons, Ronnie Merrell (Melissa), Chris Merrell (Michelle), Jonathan Merrell (Amanda); and four sisters, Linda Magathan (Dan), Pamela Jenkins (Randy), Kathryn Prather, and Julie Boyce (Scott).
He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and numerous other family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Beverly Fletcher; and brother, Steven Ward.
Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned at this time.
The family requests donations be made to Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home to help pay for funeral expenses.
