It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael Todd Warner, who departed this life on July 8, 2025, at the age of 45. Born on July 15, 1979, Michael was a cherished individual whose quiet demeanor and soft-spoken nature endeared him to many. He graduated from Western High School, setting forth on a path that would lead him to a fruitful career as an engineer with Reynolds, where he dedicated around a decade of his skilled service.
Michael was a man of remarkable contrast; although he preferred solitude, he possessed a profound love for life itself. His athleticism was evident through his dedication to fitness—frequenting the gym with enthusiasm—and his passions extended beyond the weight room to the dynamic world of professional wrestling, a pursuit that captured his heart. He derived immense joy from savoring culinary delights, celebrating the pleasures of eating that marked his zest for living.
Michael's life and legacy are survived by a strong and loving family. He was the beloved brother to George William Warner, Jr., Lenorad Warner, Gladys Hall, Norma Warner, Elizabeth Chappell, Paula Mason, James Warner, Renissa Warner, Carolyn Allen, Richard Graham, Joyceann Graham and George Christopher Warner. In addition, his legacy lives on in a host of nieces, nephews, friends and coworkers each of whom carry a piece of his spirit forward into the world.
Michael was preceded in death by his devoted parents, Janice (Kinnett) Warner and William Warner, Sr., who nurtured his foundations and values. Their love, integral to his character, shaped the man he became and the treasured memories left behind.
The community is invited to celebrate Michael's life during visitation on July 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service commencing at 12:00 PM, both to be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272
As we remember the man that Michael was—a soft-spoken soul with a love for life—we take solace in the beautiful moments shared and the legacy he leaves behind.
