Michael Weaver Obituary

Visit the Chapel of the Valley website to view the full obituary.
Michael Dale Weaver, 59, of Rock Island, Washington, heard the final buzzer and hung up his spurs on February 28, 2026. Known for a competitive spirit in the arena and a gentle hand with a horse, Mike spent his life chasing rodeo dreams.

Mike was born on April 8, 1966, in Wenatchee and was raised on Badger Mountain, where he developed a deep love for farming, horseback riding, and the rodeo life. Mike began competing in rodeos during high school and embraced the cowboy lifestyle for as long as he was able.

He attended Eastmont High School and later Wenatchee Valley College. Mike proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1986 to 1988. Following his service, he built a life rooted in hard work and determination, eventually owning and operating Weaver Trucking Company.

Mike was a gentle and kind soul. His warm smile and soft sense of humor could make anyone chuckle. He loved his family and friends deeply and would do anything for those he cared about. His greatest joy in life was his daughter, Josie Mikal Dale Weaver, who was truly his world.

He is survived by his father, Dale (Sandy) Weaver; his mother, Carla Carey; his beloved daughter, Josie; the love of his life, LauraLee Weaver; his brother Chuck (Traci) Weaver; his brother Mike Carey; his sister Vicki Robins; seven nieces and two nephews; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the fairgrounds pavilion in Waterville on April 18, 2026, at 1:00 pm.

Mike will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
