Michael departed this life on November 27, 2025.
In 1964 the Webster family moved to Boston and lived in the Mission Hill Projects in Roxbury for a number of years. They eventually moved into the family home on Oakhurst St. in Dorchester which is where many of Michael's lifelong friendships were formed with kids from the neighborhood. He attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from West Roxbury High School in 1979 where he played basketball for the Westie Raiders and attended Massasoit Community College.

He attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from West Roxbury High School in 1979 where he played basketball for the Westie Raiders and then attended Massasoit Community College. He spent much of his childhood and teenage years hanging out with his older brothers, Gary and Will. They did everything together including going to school, playing sports, working and getting into mischief along with the other boys in their neighborhood especially at the "Soul Rock", the infamous hang out spot in the neighborhood. Wherever you saw one Webster brother, the others were not far. Their brotherly bond along with their bond with the "fellas" from the neighborhood was strong and has remained impenetrable throughout their lives.
Michael met Grace Andrade in 1984 at a nursing home in East Cambridge where they both worked. Together they produced and raised three children, Michelle, Nicholas and Autumn. Michael also became stepfather to Grace's oldest son, Jonathan immediately embracing him with the same love and support his siblings received. He was only in his early twenties but already demonstrating the love, commitment and compassion that has defined him as a man.
In his early working life Michael held several positions with various organizations. However, in the past 25 years Michael was a licensed waste water treatment operator for Massachusetts Water Resource Authority and most recently, he managed the delivery operations for the family business, Down Home Delivery & Catering a well-known local restaurant in Dorchester.
Michael leaves behind a legacy of love, family and strength. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Minnie Lee Webster (Nana); his children Jonathan Andrade, Michelle Andrade (Antwane Haliday), Nicholas Andrade and Autumn Andrade; two grandchildren; Zoey Haliday and Zane Haliday; three sisters, Brenda Webster, Cynthia Stanton and Patricia Webster (Gerald Hullum); two brothers; Gary Webster (Gale Scott) & Willie Webster Jr. (Wanda Breeland); ten nieces & nephews; ten great nieces & nephews and a host of cousins, friends and co-workers. He is predeceased in death by his father, Willie "B" Webster Sr.; sisters Sandra Webster and Glendoria Webster and; niece Tyquanda Webster.
To know Michael was to know selflessness, kindness, love and laughter. He will be remembered not only for what he did, but for who he was-a devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, friend and co-worker. May his life remind us that true greatness lies in love, compassion, and the joy of sharing life with others.
