Michael Weldon Obituary
Michael was born on July 16, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Robert and Gertrude (Harrington) Weldon. He was united in marriage to Judy Fisher on August 8, 1987, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids.
Michael received his Associate's degree from Kirkwood Community College. He was an avid runner, running two marathons. He worked as a Job Trainer at Goodwill for 17 years. Michael was very proud of his Irish heritage and family. He coached Nick in baseball, soccer, and basketball. Michael was a free-spirited man. "All those who wander are not lost".
Michael is survived by his wife; son, Nick Weldon; siblings, Margaret (Ron) Kirkpatrick, Shawn (Kathy) Weldon, Tim (Cheri) Weldon, James Weldon, Theresa (Darren) Nelson, and Brian (Teresa) Weldon; and many nieces & nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, paternal & maternal grandparents, and cousin, Patrick Weldon.
