He is survived by his wife Donna "Walley" Whitlow, his 3 biological children Stephen Whitlow, Angelina Whitlow, and Nathan "Nate" Porter, AKA "Little Brother" Thomas "Chris" Scalzo, and his sister Teresa "Whitlow" Helm. Mike also has several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends who loved and cared for him very much. Mike is proceeded in death by his parents, Richard D. Whitlow and Mary T. "Arment" McAfee, and his Grand Parents.
Mike had a kind soul. He was caring, sweet, and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. The one thing Mike had always said was he should have been a better father to his children. He always hoped that one day he could reconnect with them. He truly loved them and talked about them often with a heavy heart. Mike loved fishing, hunting, and chasing those darn peacocks off his lawn. Mike always had a good joke for anyone that needed a laugh. Mike's giggle was contagious. Mike had so much love to give and just not enough time in this world to give it all out. He will be greatly missed.
