Michael C. Whitworth

Mr. Michael C. Whitworth, age 45, of Guston, KY, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at his residence. Michael was born on December 23,1980, in Hardinsburg, KY.

Michael was a veteran of the United States Navy serving his country as a submariner. He was a very outgoing person with an infectious personality. He loved to fish, play video games, and just hang out with his friends at the house. Michael recently worked for Powers Paper Company in Brandenburg, but loved moonlighting in the fall working at Field of Screams.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents and numerous extended family members. He is survived by his wife, Zelma Rone Whitworth; two daughters, Alysa and Joan Whitworth; his parents, Broderick C. Whitworth and Frances Vincent; his sister, Angel Vincent; three brothers, Kenneth George, Eric, and Matthew Whitworth; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the Chapel of the Hager Funeral Home with Jason Coates officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow at the Perry Family Cemetery in Big Spring, KY. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Friday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the funeral home to aid the family with expenses.
