Mr. Michael Wayne Williams

Mr. Michael Wayne Williams, 64, passed away at Shands in Gainesville, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, following an extended illness. He is preceded in death by his father James Marion Williams. He is the son of James Marion and Geneva Thronton Williams. He was a lifelong resident of Lake City and enjoyed fishing, playing softball, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Michael is survived by his two daughters Stacey Williams, Lake City, FL and Stephanie "Sissy" Williams, Ft. White, FL. his mother Geneva Williams, lake City, FL, two brothers Jimmy Williams (Sherry), Lake City, Fl and Tommy Williams, Carlton, GA. Six grandchildren Brandon, Peyton, and Dana Barwick, Kaleb Root, Triston and Shayla Williams. And one great-grandchild Joshua lee Barwick.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Reverend John Terry officiating.
