In memory of
Mary Quartuccio
September 10, 2019
Our deepest sympathy to you, Diane, and all of your family. I don't think I ever saw Mike in our years of visiting Orange Beach, that he wasn't smiling.
A great bridge player...win or lose. May your memories of the good years be your strength.

I was so shocked to hear of Mike's passing. Had no idea he was ill. I had not communicated with him for the past 3 or more years which I regret deeply.
I knew Diane since high school days and shortly thereafter in the early 60s when she and Mike were married. I watched their Kathy, Mike, Jr., and Patrick grow up. I "tried" to play bridge with them with my wife Joyce many evenings. We all enjoyed music, bands, concerts, singing with the barbershoppers, etc. Patrick and I shared a love of the trombone, and Mike, Jr. his trumpet.
Mike was a perfect gentleman, a loving husband and father, and just an all-around great guy!
May he rest in peace singing with the angels.

Diane and Kathy and family,
Want to share my sympathy with all of you. Remember the times we all sat in the bleachers cheering for the MSHS.volleyball team. Those were our good old days. It was fun getting reacquainted with Mike when playing bridge with him on Wednesday afternoons. It's interesting how our lives keep intertwining. I'm sure that Mike will be dearly missed.
Love and hugs and prayers!

Mike always had a hand of friendship to offer anyone in need. I enjoyed singing in choir with him at St. Mark's and I'm sure he will be greatly missed by his entire loving family.

I've known Mike my entire life as I grew up at St. Mark Lutheran Church. He was about 10 years older than me, so I was always aware of him. I believe he served as a role model for several young people. I remember Mike's parents, Henry and Dorothea, well as stalwart members of the church. Years ago, when I was a child I remember Henry playing the organ. I'm sure Mike got his musical talents from his dad. I am sure that I had all three of the Mike's children in Sunday School back in the day when I taught Sunday School. I served on the Building Committee when we as a congregation decided to build our beautiful sanctuary. While I have not attended church in a few years, I still feel like it is my church home. St. Mark has lost a dedicated loving member of its church, but heaven has gained a wonderful man. I always remember Mike as a kind, thoughtful man who respected those around him and treated everyone with dignity. My prayers for condolences go out to Diane, Kathy, Mike Jr, and Patrick and the entire extended family. Prayers for Nancy and Mike's brother in losing a sibling which is very hard. May your hearts be uplifted knowing that Mike was a faithful servant; may your pain recede and leave you with only happy memories.
