Michael Wolfgang Wolf, age 75, passed away peacefully Monday, August 4, 2025.

Mike was born January 1, 1950, the son of Burton and Trudy (Bierwirtz) Wolf. He had a spirit shaped by curiosity and quiet adventure. Mike traveled extensively throughout the United States, finding joy and solace in the landscapes of California, Arizona, and Utah. His journeys brought him close to the natural world and the open road, two things he cherished deeply. For over 30 years, Mike made his home in Northfield, Minnesota, where he built a life rooted in simplicity, companionship, and community. He shared those decades with his beloved partner, Mavis, whose presence was a constant source of warmth and strength in his life. Mike worked at the local Co-op, where he was known for his steady presence, and kindness. He leaves behind a legacy of quiet generosity, unique humor, and a deep appreciation for the everyday beauty of life. Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is lovingly remembered by his siblings MaryAnne, Collette, and Ray "Duke" Wolf; many nephews & nieces; as well as by many friends and members of the community who were fortunate to know him.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents Burt & Trudy; and his brother Pete Wolf.

A private remembrance will be held by the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mike's memory to nature preservation organization of your choice.
