Michael Wrage Obituary
Mike was born on June 4th of 1962 to Robert and Andrea (Saltou) Wrage in the Osage hospital. Mike then took a job with the ride carnival that was at the Mitchell County Fair and traveled the country with them until his early 20's. In 1983 he returned to the Osage area. Mike was briefly married to Tina Brown in the mid 80's, together they had their son Kyle. Mike worked in various meat packaging plants in the area. He later relocated to Texas in 1992. In 2000, Mike was injured in a motor vehicle accident and returned to his parents' home in Mitchell, IA to recover.
He worked briefly delivering dogs to east coast pet stores, he brought home quite a few dogs slated for euthanasia. He found homes for all of them. In 2008 Mike started working for Blattner Energy, building wind turbines. That job moved him across the Midwest and the southeast United States. Due to his health, he retired in 2019 to Carpenter, Iowa.
Mike was an enthusiastic motorcyclist, hunter, and fisherman until his failing health left him unable to be active. He filled his time with Playstation games and movies.
