To Michael and Wendy and the entire Zazula family: I had the privilege of working with Mike on cases for about 20 years, and in that time I came to deeply respect not only his professionalism, but the kind of person he was. Mike had a great sense of humor and he was truly kind-hearted. I feel grateful to have known Mike and he will be greatly missed. Please know that you are in my thoughts during this very difficult time.

I´m very sorry to hear of his passing. He was both a colleague and a friend, and he will be missed. My sincere condolences to his family.

My first interaction with Mike was as an intern. He taught me how to check gas lines for leaks and was always willing to teach and mentor. He was well respected for his knowledge and passion on fire scenes and lab exams. He will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with Mike´s family.
