Michael Carl Zniewski

I'm sad that Mike died! (And Jan as well.) I learned of his passing in the Cathedral Magazine that arrived today. I knew Mike and the rest of the family through the Granite City Obedience Club where we attended meetings, trained our dogs and held a show every year. Mike was such a sweet guy, always! The last conversation I remember having with him was a while after he got married. He commented that people kept asking him if the honeymoon was over yet. He asked what that even means, and I got the impression he didn't like the insinuation that his marriage wouldn't be as good after the blissful "honeymoon" period. That period of time was many years ago but I still carry lots of good memories and a soft spot for my kind and caring friend, Mike.

I remember Mike as my bus driver picking me up and always having a smile on his face.
