Michaela Carter Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Burnam & Son Mortuary, Inc. on Jan. 27, 2022.
Michaela Jhane Carter was born, November 23, 1996, a daughter to Michael Carter and Kimberly Mbuyi. Michaela was a graduate of Antioch High School where she was a member of the track and field team. At an early age she was baptized and joined the Freedom Temple Ministries under the pastorship of Rev. Don Smith, where she was a part of the Youth choir. Later Michaela joined Lake Providence Baptist Church under the pastorship of Rev. Bruce Maxwell.
Michaela loved her job at the Twelve Thirty Club, Nashville, where
she was a greeter and server. If you were ever around Michaela it was like a bright light encircled her when she entered the room. A young lady with a warm and kind spirit who possessed a heart for counseling and caring for others. You may have seen her out shopping, or sitting at the lake reading or writing in her journal, maybe she was planning an event, maybe she was dancing or enjoying being with her family and friends and by the way she was a Foodie...she just loved to eat, that was our Michaela.
On, Monday, November 22, 2021, just shy of her 25th birthday, Michaela joined those passed before her, grandfathers, Ora L. Jones and Charles Harrison.
To cherish the loving memory of Michaela Jhane Carter she leaves her parents, Kimberly (Tshibangu) Mbuyi, Michael (Pamela) Carter; brothers, Michael Carter, Mike Mike Carter and Rabbi Kadivezo; sisters, KiAndrea Jones, Lamyron (Bryton) Peay, and Courtney Taylor; grandparents, Vanice Byrd, Myron Harrison, Victor Mbuyi and Christine Mujinga; great grandparents, Vernita and Ivory Burnett; aunts, Keely, Cicely, Kawana, Meagan, Kenyatta, Faith, Paige, Talor,Linda and Juanita; uncles, Devan, OT, Kelo, Edward and Stacey; a host of other relatives and friends.
Sincerely,
-Your friends at Burnam and Son
