Michele Arway Obituary
She was born on January 1, 1943, to Albert and Alice (Ditullio) Thompson in Akron, OH.
Michele married Richard Arway and they were blessed with four children. While raising her children, she graduated Penn-Ohio College with a degree in interior design. Michele was an avid gardener and loved sharing her creative talents with her family and friends.
Michele and Rich's passion for travel brought them to many far away adventures and they eventually fell in love with Naples, FL where they enjoyed their winter months together. Michele was known for her gourmet cooking and her love for entertaining.
Michele courageously battled her illness for many years. May she be known for her strength.
Michele is survived by her loving husband, Richard Arway. Beloved mother of Brent (Eileen) Arway; Brian (Isabelle) Arway; Renee (Bill) Paterno; Kristine, wife of Richard P. Arway Jr. deceased. Loving grandmother of Cassandra, Alexis, Andrew, Richard III, Briget, Victoria, Christopher, Meme, Kathryn, William, and Matthew; great-grandmother of Robert, Essey, Eliana, and Bianca, and two sisters, Angie Malicki and Rosemaey Passeos. She will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 20, 2022, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Waitt Funeral Home, Morganville, NJ.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, 10:30 am at St Catherine's Church, Holmdel, NJ.
Burial to follow at Holmdel Cemetery & Mausoleum Holmdel, NJ.

Rich, Brent, Brian, and Renee, I am so sorry for your loss. I have lots of great memories of Michele and we certainly had some good times together as neighbors. May she Rest In Peace. JUDY
