Michele (Shelly) R. Bricher, age 59, of Coldwater passed away surrounded by her beloved family at home on Friday, September 26, 2025.
She was born on March 26, 1966 in Coldwater, to the late Eugene Bricher and his wife, Pat (Schwieterman) Bricher of Coldwater.
She is also survived by her three daughters, who were her pride and joy—Amber & Eric Evers of Coldwater, Abby Staugler of Centerville, and Alyssa & Eric Anderson of Maria Stein. Her greatest blessings in life were her cherished grandchildren—Colten, Landyne, Amya, Lily, Cora, Lane, Creed, and one little angel on the way—each of whom she adored beyond measure. And, her siblings and in-laws, Steve & Denise Bricher of Urbana, Lisa Bricher & Fiancé Steve Rammel of Coldwater. In addition to her father, Shelly is also preceded in death by her brother, Mark Bricher.
She was lovingly known as “Grandma of the Year,” Grandma Shelly never missed a chance to cheer on her grandchildren at their many activities. A strong advocate for the Mercer County Cancer Association, she gave of herself to help others while always putting her family first. She would drop everything to support her daughters and grandchildren—whether it was cleaning, chauffeuring, or simply showing up with unconditional love. She loved her family deeply and gave her all to ensure their happiness and joy above her own.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but especially by her daughters and grandchildren, who were the greatest joys of her life. Her love, guidance, and the countless ways she cared for them will remain a lasting legacy in their hearts forever.
Funeral Services will be held at noon on Friday, October 3, 2025 at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth cemetery. Friends may call from 10AM to 12PM on Friday morning at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
