Michele Ann Caudillo, age 69, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Antelope Valley Medical Center in Lancaster, California after a sudden asthma/cardiac episode.
Michele read her Bible daily and meditated on Scriptures. She was baptized Catholic and received the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Confirmation at St. Louis of France Catholic Church in La Puente, CA.
She was born on September 21, 1956, in Los Angeles, California, daughter of the late Emil H. Aversa and Annie B. Barnes. Michele grew up in La Puente, California and attended Lassalette Elementary School, Willow Jr. High and is a graduate of La Puente High School, class of 1974. She also attended Rio Hondo Community College in Whittier, CA, where she received an Associate's Degree and an LVN certificate. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse for over 30 years. For the past 3 years, she resided in Rosamond, CA, with her husband, Anthony and daughter Sarah.
Michele was a dedicated mother of two daughters, Lia Caudillo and Sarah Caudillo; both were by her side at the moment the Lord accepted her into his loving arms. Also by her side were numerous dedicated family members.
Michele was a dedicated wife to her husband of 30 years, Anthony Caudillo, whom she cared for during his hospitalization and convalescence at home.
Michele was a dedicated Grandmother to her three grandchildren, Cynthia, Samuel, and Luke whom she lovingly cared for when they were babies and young children. Michele was also a Great Grandmother to 4 children.
Michele is survived by 4 sisters; Carol Christian, Regina Noreiga, Christiana Larrimore and Dina Ortega. Michele is also survived by brothers, Robert C. Bell, Anthony Aversa, and Frank Aversa. She was preceded in death by brothers Andrew Barnes and Jeffrey Michael Aversa. She is also preceded in death by Grandson, Luke Gilmore.
Michele was also a dedicated nurse for over 30 years until she decided to devote more time to her family and hobbies. She loved to garden and loving cared for her roses. She also loved to crochet and created many beautiful items for her home and gifts for her family. Michele is lovingly remembered by many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her.
