It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michele Elaine (Corson) Davis, 57, of Lebanon, Tennessee. After a brief illness, Michele left this earth for her heavenly home on August 15, surrounded by family and friends. Born in South Bend, Indiana, on November 17, 1965, to Darrel Robert and Peggy (Ellis) Corson, she grew up in a loving home, the youngest of three. Michele graduated from Clay High School in 1983 and attended Holy Cross Jr. College, going on to study Business Management at Indiana University, South Bend. In 1995 her work life took her to Sarasota, Florida, where she worked in Customer Sales and Design for Wetherington Homes. On April 12, 1999, Michele took on a new role as mother to Austin Ward. Her professional life then led her to Spring Hill, Tennessee where she met the love of her life, Keith Davis. Michele, son Austin, Keith, and son Dalton, blended their families and followed Keith’s work to Westfield, Indiana where the boys graduated from Westfield High School. While in Indiana, Michele was also CFO for Talevation software services. Michele’s strong work ethic, organizational skills and great people skills were the perfect addition to Keith’s career path, so the two created DH Management Services. While Michele’s work life included many accomplishments, her true passion was for photography. She used her talent to capture sporting events, the boys’ football games, as well as graduation and wedding photos. At any gathering, Michele was behind the lens. Her photos also include many of the beautiful places they visited and events she attended. She was always ready for the next adventure or experience. Along life’s road, Michele and Keith gathered many friends who became part of her family. Her happy place was their beautiful mountain top home, lovingly called Davis Hollow. She loved to fill their home with family and friends. Her priority in life was to bless others and create memories for a lifetime. Michele will be remembered for her warm hospitality and servant’s heart, such as her passion for Rest Stop Ministries where she volunteered her time and resources. Heaven has gained an angel. Michele is survived by her husband Keith Davis; sons Austin Ward and Dalton Davis, brother Doug Corson, brother Mike (Linda) Corson; nephew, Drew (Jenna) Corson, niece Katie (Josh) Lembke. She loved her role as sweet aunt to nieces Kynslee, Makayla, Everly and Hannah Corson, Eli and Brooklyn Lembke, as well as many cousins and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Darrel and Peggy Corson. While she leaves a hole in our hearts and empty seat at our tables, we are at peace knowing that she rests comfortably in the arms of our Lord.
