Michele Lynn Hughes Pope

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Michele Lynn Hughes Pope, 46, of Jacksonville, Alabama, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in Jacksonville. Pastor Daniel Leonard will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Michele passed away at her home on Monday, September 22, 2025.
She was born on October 3, 1978, in Gadsden, Alabama. Michele was passionate about her crafts and was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Her faith was the foundation of her life and she was a beloved member of Profile Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and loving spirit.
Michele faced a courageous battle with cancer, showing incredible strength. Her spirit remained strong and she continued to show unconditional love to those around her. Through it all, her incredible strength and unwavering faith were an inspiration to everyone who knew her. She now rests in the loving arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Michele is survived by her loving husband of three years, Jeff Pope; her children, Andalee Morgan and Xander Rodgers; her stepdaughter, Candice Howard; her parents, Terry Hughes and Amelia Perkins; her grandchildren Landry Howard and Amelia Howard (Millie); her brother, Scooter Hughes (Monica); her uncle, Phillip "Flip" Hass; and several loving nieces and nephews.
