Mickie was a graduate of Western Reserve High School, Class of 1985. She was employed as a press operator at Flambeau and previously in the deli at Champion Sparkle. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, puzzles, bingo, traveling, and spending time with her family. Mickie was a very kind and loving person. When she told you she loved you she meant it. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Welch.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
