Michele Yopp

Michele Yopp departed this life for life everlasting on January 25, 2023. She was born in New Britain, CT to the Late Charles E. Boxley and Aquila Yopp Boxley Levine.
Michele received her formative years and early education in Middletown, CT. Upon moving back to New Britain she continued her education in the New Britain school system.
Michele loved to cook and host family events and get togethers. She was very creative and enjoyed crafting.
Michele was a loving, compassionate and caring person.
She would often think of others before herself providing hot meals, food, clothes or whatever the need may be.
Michele loved her family and friends. She was a good listener and a loyal friend.
Michele was honored to be a grandmother and a great grandmother. She was very proud and loved each one of them.
Michele leaves all her love to her loving children, her son, Antwan Yopp of New Britain, 3 daughters, Shicola Yopp of Meriden, Latoya McCrorey of Bristol and Tamika McCrorey of Cromwell, CT.
She leaves her love, hope and dreams to her 10 grandchildren and one great granddaughter, Antwan Jr., Deshea, Deeva, Imani, Douglas, Amere, Mia, Nariah, Deacon, Dream and Malani.
Michele leaves precious memories to two brothers, Wayne Yopp of Wallingford and John Boxley of New Britain and two sisters Robin Boxley of New Britain and Tora Boxley of Middletown.
She also leaves cherished memories to her grandmother, Catherine Green and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
Michele was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Anthony Boxley.
Funeral services will be held at Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home, 411 S. Main St., New Britain on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in New Britain. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
