Survivors include her mother, Norma Hall; her husband, Carmelo Alvarez; and their daughters, Alexis and Taylor Alvarez.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Mooneyham.

The family of Michelle Alvarez will celebrate her life of 58 years at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. She passed on Friday, February 11, 2022.

Carmelo, I am beyond shocked! Lou called me to ask if I had heard from you, and I said no, and then she told me that Michelle had passed away,! I am so sorry and do not have the words....I cannot even fathom what you and the girls, and family are going through at this time. Just know that we in Georgia are thinking about you and we love you! Trish
