Michelle Diane Blackwell, age 61 of Hartwell Ga, passed away peacefully at Anmed Hospital in Anderson on May 9, 2025. She was born on August 18, 1963 in Hartwell Ga to the late John Blackwell Jr and Minnie Rucker Blackwell. She was a beautician by trade and was a devoted mentor and praise director at Christian Worship Assembly, bus monitor, Praise Dance Director, graduate of school of discipleship, working in the ministry for over twenty years. She loved her God, Family and community.
She was preceded in death by, her father John Blackwell Jr, brother, Nelson O'Neal Blackwell Sr, and brother in law, Bryant Keith Hill.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving mother, Minnie R, Blackwell, her sons, Travius Geer (Rokeeya) of Hartwell, Ryan Blackwell of Hartwell, daughter Zah'ri Blackwell (Nate) of Atlanta, siblings: James Terry Blackwell, Freddie (Sherry) Blackwell, Deborah Blackwell, Anthony Blackwell (Doris), Judy Blackwell Reed (Leroy), Tracy Blackwell Hill (Keith), grandchildren, Jaylen Thornton, Eliahjus Blackwell and Zoei Wright, aunts: Connie Blackwell, Margie Brantley, Mary Wilcher, Camilla Rucker and uncle Talmadge Rucker.
Private funeral service will be held at a later date.
