Michelle R. Craig

1960 - 2025

Michelle R. Craig (Pifferetti), 65, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025. She was born in Mt. Pleasant on Sept. 26, 1960, and grew up in New Stanton. Michelle was a graduate of Hempfield High School, Class of 1978. She managed several retail locations early in her career. As an entrepreneur and avid cook, her dream was to establish a successful culinary business to share her passion for food and serve the community. Michelle co-owned Shrimpo's Pizza in Youngwood for nearly 20 years. Michelle is survived by her beloved parents, Frank and Delila Pifferetti of New Stanton; her two children, Brieana Parker (Nic) and Jett Craig; two sisters, Denise Skilone (Dave) and Lori Ann Chaussinand (Rick); and sister-in-law, Kathy Pifferetti. She is also survived by nephews, Billy, Blake, and Grant; niece, Madison; and grandson, Suede. She was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Pifferetti Jr., in Oct. 2023. Michelle will be remembered as a loving mother and friend. She enjoyed the beach, warm weather, and putting smiles on faces often adding them to pizza boxes. A private service was held at Christ Church in Youngwood for immediate family.
