Michelle (Rosato) "Rosato" DeRycke

Canandaigua – Michelle (Rosato) DeRycke, age 50, passed away unexpectedly, on Sunday, July 20, 2025. She is survived by her devoted husband of 19 years, Todd A. DeRycke; two loving stepchildren, Noah DeRycke and Natalie (Noah) Welker. Michelle was a proud and adoring Nana to her beloved grandchildren, Emma, Morley and Hayden, a role she treasured above all. She was a beloved daughter to Allen and Linda Rosato and a beloved sister to Bridgett and Melinda Rosato. Michelle was a cherished aunt to Nancy Saxby, Louis (Ally) Saxby and Brandon (Ally) Rosato.

Michelle was born in Canandaigua, attended Canandaigua schools and was a graduate of Canandaigua Academy, class of 1994. She was a vibrant and loving soul, cherished by all who knew her. Her warmth, humor, and generous spirit touched countless lives, and her absence leaves an irreplaceable void. Michelle found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved spending sunny days by the pool with her dogs, basking in the warmth of summer. An adventurous spirit, Michelle traveled often with her best friend Stephanie (Art) Honke, making memories and exploring new places with wonder and laughter.

Those who knew Michelle will remember her kindness, her laughter, and the way she made everyone feel welcomed and loved. Her legacy of compassion and joy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

There will be a private family service. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date and time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Michelle's memory by spending time with loved ones, soaking in the sunshine, and holding each other a little tighter.
