Michelle Buff Evans has always been a light in the darkness even in her final days and beyond that. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by the love and presence of her family which is what she wanted.
Michelle was born in Macon, Georgia on March 27th, 1967. She was 57 years old when she passed in Apopka, Florida on February 17th, 2025. Michelle is survived by her beloved husband, Kenny Evans; children Preston Goodrich and Hannah Goodrich; brother Marvin, (Skip) Horwitz (Nancy) and sister Denise Smith (Jeff). She is also survived by her two precious fur babies, Lillie and Lotus. She’s preceded in death by her father, mother, and another fur baby. Michelle worked at Barry Neal Floor & Home for 22 years. She loved to read, beach vacations, sunrises, road trips, and spending time with her family. The long journey of the change in her health began in September 2023 and she chose to do hospice in the beginning of 2025. Thank you to everyone who has supported Michelle & her family through this painful time for everyone. Thank you to the family for taking care of her in her final days and fulfilling her final wishes. We appreciate every effort of support during this time. If you are unable to send flowers or want a different way to honor her, please consider donating to any cancer charity that you see fit on her behalf.
The family will receive friends & other loved ones on February 28, 2025, at 11 am at Highland Memorial Gardens, 3329 East Semoran Blvd., Apopka, FL 32703, with a memorial service to follow.
