Michelle Carter Parow, 49 of Hope Mills, NC, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023 in her home, surrounded by family.
Born on December 23, 1973 in Cumberland County, NC, Michelle was the daughter of Mackie and Cindy Carter.
She will be forever cherished by her husband, Charles Joseph “C.J.” Parow II; daughter, Taylor Belch and husband Parker; daughter, Lauren Parow; granddaughter, Raelyn Belch; father, Mackie Carter and wife, Patricia; mother, Cindy Carter; sister, Crystal Gwin; nieces, Andrea and Brittney Gwin; and a host of other family and friends.
Michelle worked as a supervisor at Salt Life, LLC in Fayetteville for several years. She was an avid crafter, spending quite a bit of her spare time in her crafting “she shack” making numerous items and decorations throughout the year. Her love for crafting truly shined during the Christmas season as she graciously decorated her home with holiday cheer created with her own hands.
Her heart was big and caring. Whenever she was able, Michelle enjoyed helping others…that is of course when she wasn’t trying to scare the pants off them being the prankster that she was.
Above all, her family was her life. Whether it was fishing, going to the beach, holidays, or simply just being together, if it meant time with her family, Michelle was there. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother to her beautiful and amazing little Raelyn, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Michelle will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Michelle's honor be made to the American Cancer Society at https://donate/cancer.org.
