Michelle Rene Perry, age 50, was born on November 21, 1974, in Columbus, Indiana, passed from this life to glory on February 2, 2025, at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, Indiana.  A 1993 graduate of Seymour High School, Michelle immersed herself in the vibrant tapestry of her community. A member of Cornerstone Community Church, she embraced her faith, finding solace in the fellowship and shared spirit of those around her. She also loved people serving as a CNA for over 19 years.

Michelle’s big heart touched everyone, radiating warmth and acceptance that made every person feel like family. She possessed a remarkable ability to treat everyone with kindness, carving out a place for them in her vast heart. Her siblings experienced her unwavering support and devotion as a wonderful big sister, a role she cherished deeply.

Her life was painted with joyful moments spent fishing, jeep rallies, riding side by side and hunting for treasures at yard sales, and exhilarating afternoons at demolition derbies. With a passion for scrapbooking, she meticulously crafted albums filled with cherished photos and heartwarming memories of her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Michelle leaves behind a legacy of love and connection. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Larry Perry Sr. of Brownstown, Indiana, who was her steadfast companion through life's journey. Her sons, Larry Perry Jr. and his fiancée Kalie Brown of Seymour, Indiana, and Tre Perry and his fiancée Gene Williams of Columbus, Indiana, carry forward her spirit. Her cherished daughter, Myra McKinney and her husband James of Brownstown, Indiana, and her loving sisters, Kim Stevens and her fiancé Tyler Stagnolia of Brownstown, Indiana, and Amanda Couch and her husband Mitch of Bedford, Indiana, honor her memory, creating a tapestry of shared love and resilience. She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry Fields and Debra Newman.

In addition to her family, Michelle's heart was infinitely filled with joy through her ten grandchildren and her granddog, Luna, each of whom will hold the essence of her love forever etched in their hearts.

As we gather to celebrate Michelle’s remarkable life, we find solace in the impact she made on those fortunate enough to know her. Visitation will take place at Cornerstone Community Church in Seymour, Indiana, on February 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest following services at Riverview Cemetery.

Michelle Rene Perry may have departed from this earthly realm, but her generous spirit and love will be carried forth by all who were blessed to experience her beautiful heart.
