Michelle Redfern Obituary

Michelle Marie Redfern of Oswego, IL. Age 72 at rest March 5, 2023. She was born on June 21, 1950, in Chicago, IL. the daughter of the late Leonard and Angeline (nee Roelke) Robeck.

Michelle spent her entire career as an elementary school teacher before retiring in 2004 from Indian Prairie School District # 204. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, painting and animals.

Michelle is survived by her husband of 15 years Gregory M. Redfern, her children Emily and Carson Redfern, siblings Brian (Grace) Robeck, niece Lauren Robeck and nephew Evan Robeck

Her canines, Coco and Patch, her felines, Cookie Dough and Socks.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023, from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 S. Douglas Road Oswego, IL. 60543

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Anne Catholic Church 551 Boulder Hill Pass Oswego, IL 60543. Cremation rites will be accorded following services. For information, 630-554-3888 or www.dunnfamilyfuneralhome.com

I am so sorry for your loss. Michelle was a very loving neighbor. Always willing to lend a helping hand. I'll always remember her for her love of gardening and the fresh outdoors.
