Shelly Simmons was born on March 25,1962, in Columbia, Missouri, and she entered into rest on October 26, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas. She enjoyed hiking, white-water rafting, skiing, and her beloved Dallas Cowboys, but her greatest love was attending the English Odessa Seventh Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir and serving in the Pathfinders Ministry. She had a passion to study and know God on a personal level; her heart's desire was to share with those she encountered.
She is preceded in death by her nephew Zach Day.
Those left to cherish her memories are, Dr. Michael and Darlene Simmons; Her Brother Dr. Michael R. Simmons and wife Karen of Corpus Christi, Tx. Her sister Rene Simmons of Odessa Tx. Aunt Karen of Titusville, Florida, Nieces and Nephews Ian Simmons, Neena Bavikati and India Dennis and Husband Cody Dennis, great nieces and nephew Brody and Emma Dennis, also, her cousins Randy Watson and wife Reigna.
A celebration of life will be held on November 9, 2025 3pm at Odessa English SDA Church 201 E 91st street Odessa Tx 79765.
