THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE CARING FOR AND ASSISTING THE FAMILY OF MICHELLE STRILECKIS
Passed while doing what she loved, gardening.
WATERTOWN – Michelle (Trudeau) Strileckis, age 74 of Watertown, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday August 28th 2021. She was the wife of Thomas Strileckis.
Michelle was born February 16th 1947 in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Andre and Gertrude (Meunière) Trudeau. She graduated Saint Francis Xavier Grammar School and was a graduate of Croft High School. Michelle was a loving a dedicated home maker for many years and then later began working as a clerk for UPS until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling and loved to spend time gardening. What brought the greatest joy to Michelle was spending time with family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Left to honor her legacy and cherish her memory, besides her husband, Thomas are her four sons;
Timothy Strileckis of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Thomas Strileckis II of Prospect, Tedd Strileckis and his wife, Linnea of Litchfield, and Toby Strileckis and his wife, Amanda of Prospect. She also leaves her brothers; Pierre Trudeau and Marcel Trudeau and his wife, Karen of Charleston RI and her sister, Renee Lafrieniere and her husband Michael of Bethlehem. She also leaves 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers Joseph and Claude Trudeau.
Funeral services for Mrs. Strileckis will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Francis Xavier Church at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in New Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church.
