Michelle Rae Waite

She was and will always be my best friend, my bestie, as we affectionately called each other. She was the sister I never had, and once this shock wears off, I´m going to be so very lost without her. Our friendship
started at age 9, in the 4th grade, when I was the new girl in school. We always remained friends over the years, but after high school and college, work, and raising families, we reconnected for good. Some called us inseparable, but we had lots of catching up to do. We made so many great memories over the years, and I will especially cherish the memories made on our beach trips, as the ocean is our most favorite and happy place to be. I would be remiss if I didn´t mention our next favorite thing to do was Lafayette runs to eat DogNSuds and Goodwill thrift. Oh, the many treasures we found over the years...
Speaking of treasure, Michelle WAS a treasure. We were each others confidant, counselor, prayer partner, encourager and cheerleader, and each others overall support system through all the highs and lows. And laughter, oh the laughter, we had ALOT of it! She was the Thelma to my Louise. We always had the windows down, music loud, singing along, laughing and carrying on, the only thing ever missing was the headscarves.
